I was fairly disappointed when it was announced this was a single character game. Balancing out your party and having access to a plethora of abilities made its predecessor very enjoyable.
Hopefully there is a demo so I can see if it's better than I think.

I don't think it necessarily looks worse. It's just that it's a very different game being only a single character vs party-based.

It's a curious move for sure though. StarCrawlers was their only game before this, so they risk alienating some of their fanbase.
 
Yeah it does look rather different, yet considering how decent the first game was I'll cut 'em a little slack on looks.
