Ubisoft May Have Just Teased Child of Light II

Link - https://www.dualshockers.com/child-of-light-ii-tease/
In a recent tweet from Ubisoft Creative Director Patrick Plourde, he revealed an image of Child of Light running on the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode. While this picture may just look like a simple unveiling of what Child of Light looks like running on the Switch, it seems that Plourde might have been using it as a means of teasing something else.

Child of Light was really good (imho). I purchased it without realizing it was an ubi game (I don't buy ubi games); but i might just buy child of light 2 if it is as good as child of light.

I'm not quite sure what's the meaning of that title.
The writer calls the PC version a bug-fest in your language Joxer.
The truth is, it took a long time for this series to make it over to the west. It’s a miracle that we get to enjoy this series at all. Once the bugs get patched out of the PC version, I say go for it. And enjoy the quirky adventures of Kazuma Kiryu.

I will agree that when it comes to determine the quality and 'fun' of a game some folks are closer to my views than other. Can't comment on Yakuza yet because I haven't started. I think I'll stick with battle techs for at least a bit longer. Dang game has a rapid difficulty ramp.

What? This game is still in development shouldn't it be early access :) Something here feels wrong. Did they take the public domain version of nethack and much with it and are now trying to sell it ?
-
Hum. The license doesn't say if you can sell it BUT you must provide the source code; i wonder if the steam download includes the source code. Actually I htink they are required to make the source code freely available; i wonder how they will handle this aspect.

Bethesda Says Fallout 76 Avoiding Steam Doesn't Mean All Future Games Will

Link - http://www.ign.com/articles/2018/08...-future-games-will-too-doom-eternal-undecided
“We did not announce ‘all future Bethesda games will not be on Steam,’” Hines explained. “That is not what we said. We said ‘this game will be available exclusively on Bethesda.net.’”

When asked whether Doom Eternal would be skipping Steam as well, Hines said they don’t know yet. “We haven’t decided on anything else, this is specific to Fallout 76 given the kind of game it is -- it’s an online, ongoing game,” he continued. “[Doom Eternal] may or may not, but it hasn’t been decided on anything else yet.”

If Doom Eternal is exclusive Bethesda.net (or whatever it is) I will be VERY UPSET.

(OKay, okay, I'll probably get it anyway… but still…)

Nah… I don't see Bethesda turning into another Blizzard Entertainment any time soon. I'd be very surprised if they stopped selling their single-player games on Steam, etc.

It might happen by the time Starfield rolls around, but I don't expect it this year or next.

Queen's Wish: The Conqueror Update #7

Link - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/619141553/queens-wish-the-conqueror/posts/2262641
Here is the first monthly update for Queen’s Wish development! We’ve been hard at work on the new game, and it is moving along.

Spiderweb games are developed in three phases. First, we work on the game engine and system. This takes 3-5 months, depending on how much of the game is new. In Queen’s Wish, almost everything is new.

Then we write the game world, which is about six months. Then 2-3 months of porting to Windows and testing. Then we ship! (And then move on to the ports to mobile.)
Jagged Alliance: Rage announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

We are all getting older. Nothing bad about that, right? Well, the knees might hurt sometimes, seeing things far away gets a bit harder, and – oh, boy! – the heart is not as strong as it used to be. But we wake up every morning, go to work, business as usual: killing some bad guys, igniting the odd rebellion, overthrowing another evil dictator…

That’s what the mercenaries of Jagged Alliance have been doing these past 20 years. And now Ivan Dolvich, Helmut “Grunty” Grunther, Kyle “Shadow” Simmons and the other infamous fighters have a mission again when they’re stranded behind enemy lines: survive.

In Jagged Alliance: Rage! you are constantly on the brink of breakdown. Badly equipped and outnumbered, it’s up to the player to lead their seasoned mercenaries in tactical turn-based missions and to light the spark of a revolution.
