Elder Scrolls Online

The room looks amazing and nice work collecting the funds @purpleblob1;

Haha thanks :D

For easy money do daily crafting writs on multiple characters, I find Leyawiin and Alinor are the two quickest places to do writs. Then go around stealing stuff from containers. It's easy to do and can easily get you a few thousand per day (you're limited on how much you can fence per day so ignore materials worth a couple of gold and focus on taking treasure items).

Yeah I've been doing crafting dailies everyday - gives me about 4000g a day. Also been going around and stealing stuff too, its great when I don't get caught lol. I don't think I have access to Leyawiin area - is that part of Blackwood?

I've found ESO people are pretty generous so you can often just ask in zone if you need something. Also I've heard joining a guild can be a good way to get access to people willing to share. Finally, if you want to find the best prices from guild traders use Tamriel Trade Centre - https://us.tamrieltradecentre.com/ - other people use it too so you have to be quick to jump on good deals.

Oh nice, thanks for this :)

Something is seriously broken with ESO - lots of people having issues with dungeon finders, guild trading, or even logging on. I also can't go into one of my houses anymore - it puts me into infinite loading screen then the game eventually logs me out (timed out probably). I sure hope I can get access back into this house (Sugar Bowl Suite) again =.= Sigh.

Edit: Finished decorating Sugar Bowl Suite - added a candle and dog food bowl :)

Nice, something tells me you may be the one doing the decorating at home irl ;)

That's ... a tiger bear! o_o

That must be fun to live in an old castle (except renovating the whole thing and paying the energy bill, but of course those are just side issues) :D There are still a few around.

Yes, I love house decorating irl too but our apartment is a bit too crowded now ;)

It has some kind of runes on it... its so cute, it chases butterflies when I'm standing still :D

I always dreamed of living in a fancy fantasy castle ;)

I'm on my last inn room to decorate but I'm struggling with it - I'm not really warming up to Elder Scrolls dark elf structure/furniture :/ I think this one might take a while as I might waste a lot of resources experimenting with different things...

I've been working on Saint Delyn's Penthouse but it's not progressing well… I kinda dislike the inn because 1. there are no windows so its very dark 2. I don't really like dark elf furnishing. I've been filling in place with Redguard furnishing instead but something still doesn't feel right :( I think this will take a while to get it right (if ever).

So, I turned my attention to my Barbed Hook Private Room again - this apartment was previously decorated (and pics were shared here) but I wasn't too happy with it because my layout was too similar to pre-furnished version of the room. In fact, the shape of the room kinda forces you to arrange things in that way… sooo~ I decided to add a second floor to change things up! Still WIP but I've got most of big things in there :)

EDIT: removed pics as now I got final version of the place :D

You could sell decorated houses in ESO. :)

But I don't see any library… where do you store all those looted books? ;)

How does it work to place the objects by the way, does it take a lot of time to align things properly or is there some aid? I remember that placing objects required some dexterity in Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim. You had to put them down gently and tuck a little bit here and there or they would stay at an unnatural angle. From what you said it's safer in ESO, but it can still take a lot of time I suppose?

Object placement in ESO is a lot better than other Elder Scrolls games. You can only move object once you press F5, otherwise, they are locked in place. While on F5 mode, you can move objects up/down, in/out, left/right and even rotate them. You can also change the scale of distance or angle it moves (e.g you can move object by 1 cm, 10cm or 100cm each time you press arrow button).

So its pretty easy imo ;)

I finally finished working on Hall of Lunar Champion - Lion's Cradle wing!

I have to admit, I was very disappointed when I first unlocked this place - it's basically a ruin that was given to players as a "reward" and I thought it's ridiculous that we can't clean up the place without building over it (which I didn't want to do).

So I tried my best to give it a decent look without changing the place too much. I had to do some level of renovation inside because otherwise it looked really dingy.

Southern Elsweyr (where this place is) is swept with plague (from what I understand), so I guess that's why the place is worn down too. So I thought, why don't I decorate the place with a theme of "community rest house" - you know, sort of like renovating the place and give it back to community as my gratitude as well.

So here it is! Lion's Cradle - Southern Elsweyr Rest House - Free for any travelers to stay and eat!

Been busy with ESO as usual, this time working on my Snugpod!

My bosmer (wood elf) is peculiar one who feel that she can relate to altmer (high elf) more than her kins - she loves civilised life but she managed to strike a nice balance in her bosmer style home:

I have admit, I'm getting exhausted now... while I love house decorating, farming/grinding has been wearing me out... maybe I will slow down a bit now.

I plan on decorating 2 more inns - Leyawiin and upcoming High Isle.

It makes it so hard to decorate Leyawiin inn because ESO+ subscription doesn't give you access to latest DLC area unless you purchase it separately, so atm I don't have much direction to go with. Maybe I will watch some Youtube video around Leyawiin area to get myself inspired a bit.

I'm hoping there will be a High Isle inn decoration competition once upcoming DLC hits in June - I really want to participate! I guess its time to save up on gold, crafting materials or maybe even furnishing plans.

It's understandable you must feel that way, it looks like you've been 100% into it. :)

The styles are completely different, that's nice they provide that choice in a game (but yeah, DLCs…). If that wasn't an MMO I'd be tempted to try.

Thanks for sharing these pics!

Yes, I have been playing non-stop lol.

I'm relieved to hear that you think all styles are different - I'm starting to feel like my designs are getting a bit same-y....

Was pleasure to share all these pics ;) I'm happy with most of them.

Now, it's time for me to go back to WotR!

Any traveler, especially weary ones, would love to stay at your place!

I also agree with Red that the styles look different for each. You are using assets for a game where everything has to fit into the overall ESO artwork so there will be that feeling of similarity tied through but each area you did feels unique from the shots you showed.

Yay, thanks - makes me so happy to hear that :D

If you want to try (you can play it for free, even though its more painful due to (intentional) lack of QoL) let me know! I can craft lots of stuff if you want to get into house decorating if you can provide me with mats (which actually isn't too hard to do, except for stupid flour and decorative waxes). Inns are only 3,000g which can be very quick to grind (takes me like 15mins to do so), and tada~ you have somewhere to decorate :D
