I played it back when it was released. A very good game actually, though it does get a bit repetitive after a while. Nonetheless, it's worth playing.

The best version is the original Amiga version IMHO.

The remake is a bit more streamlined and easier, but still very good.

Addictive isn't strong enough a word for this game.

This is the one game I'd thought of getting for my non-gamer, pirate-loving father-in-law.
