@PC Gamer Star Control: Origins has a new world editor.

Ian found some things to like in arcadey space RPG Star Control: Origins, particularly in the combat, but said its galaxy felt empty and forced you to grind. Perhaps the new world editor and mod support, added this week, will let creative players bring out the best in it while getting rid off the boring bits.

What are the limitations on Multiplayer in this?

How many players? Is it co-op only or are there PvP options or friendly fire?

I've been reading some of the litigation notes from the original creators. Stardock's settlement "offer" is as draconian as can be. They're trying to steal the property through legal channels even trademarking all the old alien races (they show as live at the USPTO).

The OC's have shown a lot of documentation showing it was licensed to Accolade and it is expired on three different points. They have graciously allowed Stardock the trademark on the Star Control name although I can see an argument against (but they muddied the water on this, so they don't want to fight it).
