Doom Classic has been ray traced with PrBoom.

Real-time path tracing support for the PrBoom sourceport. The first three episodes of Doom (1993) are available.

I mean, Doom is fine as is, but it is incredible how much Ray Tracing changes the look and feel!

Minecraft actually has raytracing support, pulls it off a lot better (though still very unnecessary).

The added lighting effects do look cool though.

Well, yeah, the original graphics are ancient at this point.

That said, I'm constantly surprised at how well Doom 1&2 have aged especially compared to other games from back then.

I found the shadowing and bloom-effect on lighting to be overdone.
