Lionheart was developed primarily by Reflexive Entertainment, but is one of the last published games to bear the Black Isle logo. It used a variant of the SPECIAL skills and perks system originated by the Fallout games, and was set in an alternate history version of medeival Europe where a rift between planes has allowed demons to enter and terrorize the Earth. The game has a meticulously crafted vision of Barcelona, and several historical personages are on draft for the protagonist to interact with, but due to a rushed mid to endgame with an overemphasis on hack and slash gameplay, the game was poorly recieved on release.
