The Adventure game Gerda: A Flame in Winter has been released:

Gerda: A Flame in Winter - Launch Trailer

Gerda: A Flame in Winter is a meaningful narrative RPG-lite game inspired by real life events and civilians who tried to stand up to oppression in any way they could during the German occupation of Denmark in World War II.
This fateful story begins not on the front lines, but in the small village of Tinglev where Gerda Larsen was born and raised. The good-natured nurse has no weapons to wield and no army to speak of, relying instead on herself and her knowledge of the village and its people to try and save her husband, who was arrested by the Gestapo.
You'll be challenged with moral dilemmas as you to try guide Gerda through a much more complicated world - a world now full of dangerous situations and difficult choices that will lead you down different paths. So, how far will you go to save your loved ones?

Yes, that seems nice! :)

A few random review, they all seem very positive:

PC Invasion - 8.5/10
  • Buoyed by consistently strong writing, Gerda: A Flame in Winter handles its compelling narrative with aplomb.
The Gamer - 4.5/5
  • Pros: portrays a side of war gaming often ignores; excellent use of RPG-lite mechanics; responsive gameplay with choices that matter.
  • Cons: sometimes felt too sympathetic towards characters that didn't deserve it.
RPGFan - 84/100
  • Deep characters lure you into a razor-sharp tale of difficult decisions and hidden intrigue from a frightening, divisive time in history.
  • Pros: Story filled with mind-spinning tension, multifaceted characters with individual motivations, choice-driven experience.
  • Cons: Awkward Trust system, animations drag down visuals, second half of story feels rushed.
GodisaGeek - 80/100
  • Gerda: A Flame in Winter tells an intimate tale of love and sacrifice, and forces you to make difficult decisions you often struggle to make.
  • Pros: Conversation mechanics are smart. Engaging story. Well-written characters. Beautiful art style and score
  • Cons: Some conversations are arbitrary. Awkward animation when entering conversations
Checkpoint Gaming - 8.5/10
  • Gerda: A Flame in Winter is a must play if you’re a fan of well-thought out choices matter RPG games like Disco Elysium. Not only will you get a nail-biting story with high stakes, you’ll come out knowing a plethora of historical details and challenges of the Danish people during WW2. You will come to love or hate the cast of characters, depending on what pathway you choose, but there are endless possibilities because of the games re-playability. Persevere if your first playthrough is not everything that you imagined, because Gerda: A Flame in Winter gets better and better the more you play.
  • Pros: Wonderful visual and musical direction. A phenomenal emotional story. Explores deep and realistic interpersonal relationships. Incredible historical and political context. Choices really do matter and each one is as hard as the next!
  • Cons: The slow and casual nature of the game makes re-runs feel too slow. Lack of direction in first playthrough can lead to dead ends.

Gerda: A Flame in Winter review
In a medium preoccupied with guns and bombs and violent, power-fantasy notions of heroism, Gerda: A Flame in Winter treads a quieter path through its World War II setting, and is perhaps all the more powerful for it.
