First time I've heard of and looked into Othercide... it looks interesting, like X-Com and Nioh had a baby. Anyone try it?

That's not a bad list. From those I've played top ones would be

Wasteland 3
Banner Saga

Each with very different perspectives too.
I have to play Wasteland 3 soon. It's been sitting in my library since it was released. I loved the first two Wastelands, not sure why I've been holding off on the 3rd.

I'm tempted by FS:AM, but it seems like the plot might be too linear.
The plot is indeed linear, but what a joy to level all the different jobs and try plenty of builds and combos! Adding monsters to roster makes my head spin. I already lost around 100hours in this game. By the way, i am a huge Final Fantasy Tactics fan.
