A new gaming PC

… please excuse me for a moment, whilst I pop out to get my violin…

A friend of mine plays the hardingfele (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardanger_fiddle). I once asked him how much his instrument is worth. Turned out it's more than a 100 000 NOK (10 000 Euros). It is of course a 100 year old device.

pibbuR whose instrument (the electric guitar) cost him only 16 000 NOK (1 600 Euros), probably because it's got only 7 strings.

Does a pibbuR have an extra bass string, or an extra treble?

Well, I'll wait, then. And buy no new PC, them.

The only ones able to afford new PCs are business firms - because they MUST buy new ones if the order for that is given.

My fear is that the PC firms are following the example of car manufacturing firms : Build only those models which still guarantee high profits - and leave out everything low-profit.
