They plan to release this summer, but is it the final release or an EA? It's ambiguous:
The most impornant (sic) thing is that we've a release window now and believe us, it makes all the difference for a team working on a product for such a long time. A lot of people is asking about two main things already: final release date and Early Access. We can't go in details now but we can confirm that we'll answer both things at the same time in a few time.

EDIT: I suppose they don't know yet, from a recent update,

RELEASE DATE?
We have a release window in mind and we are putting all the pieces together right now, following feeds and being finally able to schedule things on our own. We are actually evaluating any possible scenario, considering new partners jumping in, console versions for the future and an internal roadmap we want be sure to follow, considering future updates of the game, DLC and such. Even the price point is still under discussion as well as Limited Edition, retail, loc and so on. Anyway, we would say that summer is on the way, lot of major PR events are happening. And this is when announcement take place usually. Again, just let us understand which is the best options for the final sprint, considering that we need to get traction back after a very long silence.

It better be the full release as the game is two years behind it's initial release. They also announced last month their publisher dropped them, and stopped funding development.

So I at least hope it mediocre and not a launch disaster.

I see this as a desperate cash grab since they lost the publisher. I won't touch it without a bunch of decent reviews that are longer than an hour long session.

I hope that's not the case, crpgnut, though I admit it's certainly possible. I've had my eyes on this game for a while and really hope they can cross the finish line in good fashion. Alot of the entire production seems literally quite still up in the air.

By the way @HiddenX; @Silver;, their are their own publisher now. :)
http://www.gamerainteractive.it/

They've been publishing a few other indies already. It's hard to see clearly what happened or their current situation. The website is only partially working and overall it gives an feeling of messy business, but that's not atypical - well, for devs... not publishers.

They should really be more transparent about why they are not with the original publisher, a "don't ask" won't do.

I have changed the publisher in the database.

Actually reminded me more of Lionheart, but that also works!

As others said, I gotta wait for some reviews, though, due to the odd dev history.

Ah Revenant I remember not being able to play it on it's release, and when I did quite enjoyed it. Though reading it was a disaster of a flop sale wise ruined my enthusiasm.

As for Lionheart bought my copy day one at Gamestop played it for a few days and realized it was pure crap after the prologue. What a letdown but understandable.

Only because the developers closed after that was released.

So lets hope this game doesn't suffer the same fate.:fingerscrossed:

@Redglyph; two years behind schedule and now it's entering Early Access.:(

Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms Early Access on June 30th - Steam

Alaloth is is an isometric action RPG that was first announced all the way at the beginning of 2019. It was silently pushed back to 2020 and received a 10-minute gameplay walkthrough at that time. After more delays and a bit of radio silence,

Gamera Interactive reemerged with Alaloth recently. Gamera Interactive has conveyed that many aspects of Alaloth will be in an unfinished state during its Early Access period, including the game's balancing, quests, and voice overs. Additionally, saves may not be 100% backwards compatible and players may run into several bugs or glitches as well. Although the game will initially only support English, Gamera Interactive plans to add localizations for French, Italian, German, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin American), and Turkish initially; more languages may be added later too.

The developers anticipate that Alaloth will be in Early Access for approximately 12 months and will not have its price change when it exits Early Access into full release.
