I hope they haven't announced this too soon and without anything to show. Hope this isn't a bad sign.
Also, I believe I read the original director is returning. But what about the devs? I hope they can get as many back as possible. But I'm not holding my breath.
Fucking Sega. 10 years later they greenlight a sequel.
Might not be bad timing, actually. Alien is fairly hot right now. Hotter than it was 10 years ago, anyway. Though I didn't like it, Romulus has been popular and successful. A TV show helmed by Noah Hawley is on the way. And Free League is also about to release a 2nd edition of their RPG.

Yeah, it definitely is getting a lot of activity. I'm just sad they probably disbanded the original team. And just the director alone cannot drive the whole effort.
That team did such a fantastic job and built such an authentic experience that I cannot imagine the sequel holding a candle to it.

Great news. I wonder how long they've been secretly working on it.

I wouldn't be so quick to assume it can't be as good as the first one. It'll be a challenge though for sure. Day 1 buy for me.

To bad Obsidian's Alien RPG was cancelled as that had me more excited then any recent or past Alien game released. Good for those who enjoy these games though.
