Atomfall - Narrated Gameplay Trailer

If only npcs in games would know that sometimes it's better to run away....

The stealth gameplay looks good, but why must every game have an eye icon and the word "Hidden" displayed onscreen during stealth? I'd rather they forced the player to be more aware of their surroundings and enemy line-of-sight.

Well, I'm playing KCD2 right now, where you don't have any special markers. And sometimes I'll stand up from a crouching position because I wasn't sure if I was crouching or not. Sometimes it's hard to tell from the camera perspective alone. So in that case I would be grateful for some kind of more explicit visual feedback.

Is this one an rpg like Stalker was an rpg? Meaning no actual progression, but moreso through itemization?
It does seem to have choice and consequence, and I'll be curious how deep that runs, but I'm curious about the progression.
They're not calling it an RPG, but I think it leans that way a lot more than Stalker. There are 4 skill trees, so there is definitely some aspect of progression.

It also seems like the C&C will be significant. They talked about how some events can have a major impact on the game world or be missed entirely.
