The remap link is harsh on the game but it was eye opening at least.

I've had really low expectations for Avowed. Firstly because Outer Worlds wasn't as good as I'd hoped and secondly because of the toneshift from the first trailer.
With that said, it does look like a fun game in this latest batch of previews thats been coming out. Now I'm cautiously optomisic.

I'm on the fence about this one. One positive thing, is it a recent addition that there now seems to be 3rd person as well as 1st person camera? This is a great addition IMO. You can see it in the first video at 4:57 and in the second video at 5:24

I'm hoping that they learned a lot from Outer Worlds and applied that knowledge to this product. Time will tell.

The article from Smash JT reads like a bunch of hyperbole to me. Hansen should probably shut up though.
Correct the guy should be muzzled as he attacked potential buyers last year as well over the games art direction. It amazes me how most of them get off Scot-free though.

I would not join any bashing, I just think people need to take a chill pill in general. Everyone's so ready to feel offended about everything and use the slightest thing to make it a warfront to fight their battle on.
The real world doesn't give a shit about any of this. "Touch grass" is a rather demeaning meme and I hate to use it, but I swear, a lot of people would be so much happier if they did just that now and then.
In general, I have little sympathy for those who want to restrict the freedoms of others "because I say so", it has nothing to do with anything else. It just so happens that at this time in our society that type of behavior of "if it's not like me, it shouldn't exist" tends to come from the same side. And yes, there are extremist feminist associations with the motto "kill all men" and whatnot. When they show up here to suggest that games should have no straight men, I'll be sure to tell them in their face how retarded they are too.
