Early reports on the Codex are that it's very buggy...

It is, but the developer is extremely responsive on discord. I would assume that most more apparent bugs are solved within a very short timeframe. I already found plenty of bugs and they were all solved within 2-3 hours of reporting.

It's probably just a bad idea to buy on android, as they will take much longer until new patches are validated.
