I Game Responsibly reviews Consortium and awards the game a low score of 2/5.

Consortium is a game with a lot of good ideas, but lacking the time and budget to realize them. The game is pitched as a fully immersive world with full player freedom and choices that matter. It delivers on, at most, one of those promises.

If, and I hope it will, Consortium2 evolves like FO2 evolved from FO1, I'll make sure the view on such things made by IGR site is mentioned.

Consortium should be patched completely now. Can't think of anything you'd go with so low score on it except the only thing you won't like - it's a short game.

Having fast read the review, the dude complains that the game is light in combat (he played it four times and only used his gun once outside the simulator).

Outside of the simulator you don't need to use guns at all, that's your choice. Partially… In one case you may avoid the fight completely by tricking opponents' chief, in another it depends on your deductive skills (to determine who's "the spy").
And even if it happens you have to use guns, you can go nonlethal - again your choice.

Consortium is not a common grinder for braindead people. There are no hordes of enemies that just can't get enough of being decimated. If that site thought they're reviewing a shooter, they should have put 0/5 at the end, 2 is too much. In fact, they should leave things they obviously can't understand alone and apply for a job in Weinstein "scissorhands" company.

I would give it 3/5.It's game with good ideas but it's too small and short to realize them completely.I still think it's little niche gem and I wouldn't recommend it easily.Game is now interesting experience but once trilogy is complete it might become something special(or fail epically).

Exactly. I'm perhaps too optimistic in this case since behind the project is a small studio with no big and evil publisher who'd fund the whole thing. But their approach to the game polish for the first game is a good path to present the team as trustworthy.
