Personally I prefer a download option than having to mess with DVDs. It's bound to be updated anyway.
The only part I'd understand is the box and manual, but the manual is likely to get outdated, and at the end of the day, all that takes a ridiculous amount of space. It's nice and pleasant to have something concrete but I'm over it now. The only things that matters a little to me is being able to play offline, not being forced to update, and ideally, really owning the game.
