Wow, the world is very impressive! Not only the design and all the sounds, but all the NPCs walking around, which make the towns and cities feel so alive. With mud, paved areas, and all, very medieval-like.
So it seems they're much more further in the development than earlier news suggested. I fear it requires a beast of a PC, though. Or maybe not. I first thought it was UE5, but it's their proprietary Pearl Abyss engine. I was shocked by all the details of the world, even far away, when the protagonist did his flying stunt.
I'm a little worried by "blending a single-player storytelling with multiplayer elements" (maybe it's not in that video, I saw that info in this other one -
link to the description bit). Not sure exactly how they see that, but their first game was an MMORPG, so it's not reassuring. As long as it can be switched off and doesn't require a permanent connection where we see all the other players jumping around in hubs or cities, it should be fine.
PS: The sprint animation is hilarious, but it must be a placeholder.
