Me as well and I believe that was the plan for HBS. Seems those plans have collapsed though due to MS, and the costs involved. MS did try in the past but game was not good.I'd really love to see a Shadowrun game done this well.
Correct as visuals sell more then game-play nowadays.yes visuals sell i guess cos no way it's gameplay.
I don't think doing that would satisfy CDPR or most fans. Besides, they'd be lambasted if all they did was take the same map and create a new story for it.As a secondary post, I just can´t understand why developers will not use the base game (city and character perks and development) and just create another story in Night City. Cyberpunk has most of it´s bugs and character development Ironed Out. So making Cyberpunk 2 in the same City with the same engine would be much cheaper. Create another awsome tale, a new protgaonist, expand some concepts like the BD´s would be much quicker, needed less people and would be almost bug free. win win for everyone.
Agreed, but it´s just a waste of a good setting. NC is so big and can always be improved with minimal effort. Did anyone tried this in the past, I mean getting a really good setting and improve on it instead of making a new one? I don´t know what percentage of time has gone into creating NC. IF it´s 90% it would be worth the experience, if it´s 10% then maybe it isn´t worth the risk.I don't think doing that would satisfy CDPR or most fans. I imagine the sequel will be in Night City but mostly in parts that weren't featured in the first game.

Same studio but new branches opened in Canada and Boston.I don't have high hopes for Cyberpunk 2 since it's made by a different studio. Hope I'm wrong.
I am not from America, but changing Dev´s to American ones because of Hydrants and Light poles? Not starting a politics war in here, but I want a good immersive game and cyberpunk Universe and lately US games/entertainment industry are pushing and agenda that is harmfull to games, hope CD projekt don´t let that happen. lately the games I like the most are from eastern/central Europe, their view of fun is more similar to mine.Same studio but new branches opened in Canada and Boston.
