I originally built this new pc for that purpose and then ended up playing BG3 and Victoria 3, and the most GPU demanding game in history Battle Brothers.

My first thought was "oh, yet another one of THESE articles" - but for the 5th anniversary it actually makes sense.

CP2077 was one of the last pre-orders I did, and I played it back when it came out without huge issues but it definitely felt unfinished - my assumption was it was a 'one & done'.

Then suddenly the 2.0 patch and Phantom Liberty came out and it actually worked on the Steam Deck and so starting in fall of 2022 this became my most played game of recent years along with Baldur's Gate 3!

I read somewhere today that Cyberpunk 2 has been officially confirmed (as if that were any news), but the news is that it will be set in Chicago. That's probably old news too, and there are likely sources in Couchpotato's thread about it, so I won't bother looking for them right now (busy with other things). It's probably just me not following all the internet rumours, but hey, that's why I keep reading this forum!

What I've played it of it, though, it's extremely good. The area added is the best in the game and the quests are all well done.

December 10 marks the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077, and developer CD Projekt is teasing something to mark the occasion. On its social media channels, the company posted a "Cyberpunk 2077 birthday and anniversary calendar" image alongside a cryptic message. "Secure comms channel established. Standby for incoming priority transmission," the message reads, with images of characters and dates accompanying it.

The tweet hints at something happening on December 10--the day Cyberpunk 2077 launched in 2020--and another on December 12 linked to Solomon Reed. On December 19, it looks like we'll hear from the songbird herself, Song So Mi
