Wow, so I was curious and decided to convert some of those numbers to US dollars from the Polish currency. So according to the graph (which I expanded up to a full screen image on the twitter link) the Witcher 3 sales hit around 500 million Polish money during a couple years when it was released, with other sales numbers dipping below that number quite a bit for the following years. But its a little unclear how high they got in Polish money because its hard to interpret those slashes on the graph for the exact other values.
Anyway, 500 million Polish zlotny is clear, so it means Witcher 3 made at least around $115 million
US dollars for a couple years, each year.
But then Cyberpunk 2077 blew that number away when it was released, almost reaching to a whopping 1500 million Polish Zlotych for the 2020 sales, before dropping down to near 500 million Polish Zlotych for the next two years. But 1500 million Polish Zlotych is around $347 million US dollars..that is quite a lot of moolah!
Updated: it looks like they said "Revenue" so this might be their profit,
not the total sales. Very impressive.
Updated again: lol - sorry, excuse my business terms ignorance, apparently "revenue" means total sales, not pure profit.
