I’m still enjoying my time with D4. But this trailer was pretty awful. I sure hope the event content is better than the trailer shows…because I’m getting a little tired of them continuing to recollect existing assets.

I've seen so many videos pointing out the negatives that I'm glad someone is enjoying it. The online only feature kills it for me however.
I can appreciate that. I think the always online component of this game is here to stay due to their commitment to milking us with micro transactions. The game is solid and I have enjoyed it.i don’t regret the purchase at all. But it’s far from innovative and I’m afraid Diablo just isn’t as good as other games in the genre anymore. It makes me very sad as D2 still ranks as an all-time favorite for me.
Having said all of that. I don’t like this holiday event at all. Boring, grindy, and just a low effort endeavor across the board.

I agree about the always-online requirement, especially as someone who occasionally loses internet.
That said, I am enjoying the game. In fact I think it might be my favourite Diablo of the 4 of them. FWIW, I'm mostly just in it for the campaign; I don't care about the end game and seasonal stuff.
