Servers were going up today, about 4 hours ago and I was going to give it a try.
Unfortunately, Blizzard failed again and the Season is not up yet. It's just failure after failure.
For a time, I thought Blizzard was a great company that makes great games, even if their monetization policies were starting to be shady. Now I'm just convinced any talent they had has left for greener pastures and what's left is just not good enough.

Yeah, feels overpriced to me, especially when I consider how much BG3 cost and the quality of gameplay and the amount of content there.
I really just don't understand who they made this game for... It seems like a lot of the hardcore aRPG crowd hate the game (especially the end game), and between things like the price, the always-online requirement, and micro-transactions, it's not likely to be to super appealing to more casual players either.

Perhaps this means that Diablo 4 comes to the game pass some time next year (?)... and we won't need to buy it to play through the campaign, which many here have praised.

The game is better, but it's far from worth buying at the moment, especially because it may come to Game Pass. I only bought it because I gave it to my wife as a birthday present (and then have occasionally played a bit, too).

A possible implication of the Microsoft-Activision purchase is that we might see WoW become a GamePass game, where you only need the GamePass subscription to play. WoW hasn't been the same for many years but I can see a lot of people giving it a go if they don't have to pay a dedicated sub for it.
I'm so much fed up with words like "blood" in gaming ... Ugh ...
I haven't played WoW for over ten years now. I remember at one point there was a way to create and play on your own private server. It was boring playing by yourself.

If you have an aversion to blood, you probably have the wrong hobby.
Still, there are plenty of games out there with no blood.
