Sadly the story of Disco Elysium did not end with its breakthrough critical and commercial acclaim. In the intervening years the creatives behind this project have been embroiled in spider-web of strained relationships, accusations and legal battles. A story too long and complex to summarize in an opening paragraph.

It'll be interesting to see this NoClip documentary. The previous documentary, which was a few years ago, by PMG, felt really biased against Robert and his inner circle team. Not that Robert was a great dude or anything. He also had plenty sins of his own.
But the PMG doc felt like it was giving way too much credit to the leftover team, but especially didn't pursue the publisher leadership that took over the company.
And some time after that one was published the leadership fracked the leftover team left and right. And one of the original gang, Argo Tuulik, is now apparently in a legal battle with that leadership.

Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what this doc comes up with.
