Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Is Bioware back?

Game seems good to me but it's way too early to judge and it'll be up to evaluation once the game has been out for a couple of weeks. In the meantime, I expect the usual videos of "This game sucks!!" from those who have seen trailers (those videos just make me block those channels), a common type of negativity nowadays to generate clicks.

Correct though the old BioWare will never come back. Most of the legends have fled the developer, and based on steam this game is low on the ranking already. Not a good sign.

A few recent articles have even exposed EA of inflating pre-orders to raise numbers.

The last good game BioWare made was Mass Effect 3, and that was 12 years ago. Even then, they botched the ending.

All the veterans from that time, and before, have already left.

As for Dragon Age: Veilgard, even though I love the Dragon Age lore and Origins is in my top 10 RPGs, I see absolutely nothing that makes me want to spend time or money on it, especially with better options available.

What's even more worrisome is the few who returned left again. Though a few new studios were opened that have RPGs in development. Like that ME inspired Exodus.

Are the doctors back? Then piss off.
True that. To bad one is doing medicine, the other is making alcohol, and the third I have no idea what he's doing. There was good documentary I watched a few months back.

One of the main reasons I liked BioWare games was the writing—whether it was the setting, lore, characters, etc. However, many of their best writers, like Chris L'Etoile, David Gaider, and Drew Karpyshyn, have left. Last year, they even fired Lukas Kristjanson.
