With it being set in the Centauri cluster, and humans arriving in Ark ships, it has vibes of an ME:Andromeda 2. A lot of new concepts floating around in this one for sure though. Excited so far.

I think it's safe to say it already had Mass Effect vibes without those things. Even with the new concepts, I can't help but reiterate how derivative this looks and feels to me.

The relativistic speed concept of gate travel in the game (travelling that takes minutes for the person is actually years for the outside universe) could allow for some interesting story hooks for re-meeting previous characters, at least.
