If you've been having trouble connecting to Final Fantasy 14 over the past several days, there is a reason. And that reason, according to Square Enix, is jerks on the internet.

I despise MMOs, but to all those who are suffereng because of idiots, I feel for you - I remember when I couldn't play a simple LoL match because of this crap.
I mean wtf. Why they just can't hit scamware games, not games that weren't designed to skin people alive.

This happens so often with Everquest two that it isn't even news. There must be a lot of people sitting around with nothing better to do than deprive others, I suppose.

E3 is barely over, but already we're looking forward to Gamescom 2017 in August - which this year will be opened by Germany boss Angela Merkel.
