Haven't played a single game in this series but for those that do hope you enjoy.
No surprise here. GoW was one of their more successful PC ports.
It's annoying for sure. I wasn't planning on getting this anyways, but I hope they don't do this for all their future ports.
Yay, I've been waiting for this.
Over the past few years I have been playing many of the Sony PS exclusives ported to PC -- Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, Spider-Man, Uncharted 4, and God of War -- and they are all really fantastic in their own way, most of them being in my top 15 PC games of all time, a lot better than I was expecting.
I've been looking forward to God of War Ragnarok so I'm glad it's now announced, and I will also be playing Ghosts of Tsushima once I finish Forbidden West.

I already got it. I liked the first one a lot. A solid reboot, compared to the originals which were really mindless and button mashy, and filled with teenage angst and drama.
It's unfortunate they can't let go of the PSN forcing. But if all of this eventually gets us Bloodborne on PC I'm in.

It's not a huge annoyance, technically. The problem is that they ask a lot of private information; I tried creating one and found out you could lie about everything, though I don't know if that's a risk for later. Could they block the games linked by that account? The other problem is that their website isn't working properly, so the account couldn't be finalized because of a bug, and there's no way to contact them. That last bit concerns me much more than having to use a PSN account.
I don't know if playing with a link to the account leads to in-game ads or a sort of overlay - I saw something about that. It could be another problem.
