Disgraceful! - a pornographic star as an icon in gaming, where are we treading? - where are we heading? - what influence on younger gamers? - What depths will developer studios go to in seeking publicity? - is this the moral family way of life direction? - does this type of "official face" publicity endorse it as "correct"? - why drag this slut into the gaming world? - why is she not content in staying in her own stardom seeking world? - obviously she will get more publicity and "bucking bronco" males will slaver at the mouth when they check out her portfolio. I won't be part of it - count me out.
I'm guessing she got dragged in because she wants money and they want more sales. Win-win for both parties. I've never heard of her, and I'm a Victoria Secret guy more than a porn guy, but I don't see what the bid deal is. Do you think the video game model ladies at the E3 in Vegas were virgins?
And as a guy, barring your immediate family, aren't you for girls being more slutty in general? I know I'm mad that I wasn't born 10 years earlier or later so I could of got in on the free love hippy action or the girlfriend’s making out ecstasy action. I got screwed.
Unless you think women should be repressed and guys are the only ones allowed to be sexually promiscuous. But lets break it down. Women, through no fault of their own, have a product men are willing to revolve their life around. We'll call this product hair pie. Now, just like if everyone had a clay pot, you could decide to sell it or keep it. It’s yours to do with as you wish. Now, I could think you are an idiot to sell your clay pot to the first person to come along with a couple dollars, but its still your clay pot. Same goes for hair pie. This yound lady likes to put hers on presentation and have other guys use it, and she gets paid for it because even more guys want to watch it and fake it’s them using it. Now a video game company wants to feature her in their game, and give her money for it. Would you say no if you were her?
I can empathize with this young lady because I feel as though I am a lesbian stuck inside a man's body. And if I were female I would be the biggest whore the world has ever known. I wouldn't even charge money I like sex with strangers so much (or used to, since marriage has put an end to that).
Now, family values would be setting values for your family. No one makes anyone buy games with porn stars in them. In fact, porn stars wouldn’t be porn stars if no one bought porn. So, the porn buyer, which crosses over with this games demographic I’m guessing, is the real reason this slut is in the game now. If you don’t want smut in your house don’t buy it. But it would be tyrannical to say other people shouldn’t be able to buy porn, star in a porn film, or buy a game with porn stars in it.
And I would even go a step further and say Family Values includes not allowing your kids lay any video games or watch any TV. Sports, homework, cleaning, fetching things, and reading are what kids in families with values engage in. Or is that just my opinion? The government, in the US at least, already tied parents hands when it comes to raising their children, do you really want parent’s hands tied tighter? Freedoms just another word for nothing left to lose.
"The trouble today is that we have too many laws." --John Garner, US Vice-President, 1932
"The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws." - Tacitus, Roman historian
"The trouble with fighting for human freedom is that one spends most of one's time defending scoundrels. For it is against scoundrels that oppressive laws are first aimed, and oppression must be stopped at the beginning if it is to be stopped at all." --H. L. Mencken
"Too many people are only willing to defend rights that are personally important to them. It's selfish ignorance, and it's exactly why totalitarian governments are able to get away with trampling on people. Freedom does not mean freedom just for the things *I* think I should be able to do. Freedom is for all of us. If people will not speak up for other's people's rights, there will come a day when they will lose their own." - Tony Lawrence
