Hello,

you might have heard or read from the Great Voice Actors Strike Of 2024.

I see what it is about, and it is an important topic.

However, I can't see any games productions being delayed by it ... Do companies not want to make it public that they are affected by it, or are they trying to circumvent it ?
I can see so far (I'm not much following major gaming news) only very few games being affected by it. One is Genshin Impact (and probable its sister games), and one might be SWTOR, if I read correctly between the lines.

Are there any others ?

And what do The Watch citizens think of it ?

Doesn't bother me - my backlog could last me till I die even if no new games were released, and I don't care for voice acting anyway. I'd rather have text branch conversations and supply the voices in my head.

Depends really as unlike TV not every developer uses the voice actor guild. The only ones that seem to be affected are the larger well known developer and publishers.

If I understand the rumor chatter correctly, then for Genshin Impact and for Zenless Zone Zero, a few voice actors have been replaced.
I wonder if that happened with other studios as well ?
