Nice and fast indeed! I like how the choices can impinge on reality itself, if done well it should make things fairly unpredictable.

I wish the trailer showed more than just concept art. I guess the devs having been involved with Disco Elysium was enough for backers.

After the fallout of Disco Elysium and the various lawsuits, I find it hard to believe anything they write. At this point they all need to bury the hatchet and move on.

I could never be bothered to really delve into all the drama surrounding Disco Elysium enough to watch videos or read the articles, I was just disappointed to find out the planned expansion / sequel aren't happening.

For what it's worth, I find the pitch video for Hopetown intriguing but not enough to get to me to back it, especially when they very clearly don't need it.

Perhaps Hopetown is a cynical cashgrab made by people who had very little to do with DE. Or maybe it'll end up being a decent game. Assuming of course it becomes a game at all... I'll just wait a few years for reviews to come out and then decide if it deserves my money.
