Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - 1 Million Copies sold

Such a great game but damn am I bad at the combat right now. Like the first one, it took me a long time to get decent at it.
Did you try the block/riposte thing?
I have problems with combos, but with decent gear (armour from Lion's Crest and a good sword), the dog and block/riposte random bandits aren't a problem any more.

Also did you check ability prerequisites for the weapon? If you lack strength / agility the weapon will be less effective / stamina will delete faster.

Making the NPCs talkable while they're going to bed doesn't sound like a design problem to me. It could be fixed (but it was occasionally annoying in the original too). Also, as you say one could add a few duck off lines for them when they don't want to talk. That could also be seen as realism as I'd definitely tell the random dude to bugger off if he came to my house uninvited while I was about to go to bed.
yep, i was thinking design problem as in they choose to make it too big of an area... and a voiced protagonist. Too many npcs and houses means the quality gets spread out and detail gets lost in sheer number of npcs.

The game looks amazing super realistic so it's kinda victim of it's own achievement.
Those thing stick out more cos it's so realistic. I like how in some games npcs are interactable even if it's just fluff.
Few extra dialogue lines maybe option to get involved in the banter cos there shit loads of it but it's all none interactable. I'm a fan of silent protagonist, they let you do that and save on ton of voice acting.

But i guess then it wouldn't be Henry...
It's something i would do different that's all. That and combat heh it's still soo jank with that camera ohhh. If only one could turn auto lock off that fights you on every corner.

Yeah, I have been slowly working my way up and practicing sword fighting in the practice arenas and duels. I took out a bandit camp and some nice armor dropped. It has made things easier. Time to go save my dog next. 💪

i just made an archer Bows are OP. shoot, reposition shoot.... then once they are low on hp and stamina and all wounded i just charge one by one and kill them.

The more stamina you have the better normally rpgs use HP but here it's all about stamina.

Works like a charm that way you don't need to worry of getting outnumbered and all the jank that come with the locked camera and multiple targets.

The game broke 255k concurrent players on Steam over the weekend, which I feel is pretty good for a game that allegedly only cost about $40million to make. I guess we'll have a KCD3 some 5 years from now.

Think I'm going to wait for a few more patches as there are some game breaking bugs that can ruin all your saves, and what do you know I just ran into that damn bug.

I guess in a way, it makes sense, since Henry was already a pretty good fighter by the end of KCD1. Faster and easier to "relearn" what you already know.

But yeah, personally, I don't like when you tend to level up too quickly.

Hmmm. I'm level 13 and have played for 31,4 hours according to the ingame statistics. Hasn't felt too fast for me.

I read somewhere that you start being level 6-7; from 6-7 to 13 in 30 hours is 1 level every 5-6 hours. Every person will have a different pace but that doesn't feel like very fast levelling at all.

I just finished the main questline today. I'm level 23. I didn't do every sidequest in the Kutenberg area so I'm going around and doing what quests I have left (some become unavailable once you advance to a certain point).

It's a great game, even better than the first. I like the changes they made to combat and had a very engaging story and a great cast of characters.

If you have the patience then it's definitely worth waiting until they squash some bugs. I got lucky and I didn't encounter many but there was one castle with a door that wouldn't open which prevented me from completing a side quest.

I haven't encountered many bugs neither but I'm hearing that the Kuttenberg area is less polished than the first area and I'm still only in the first area. Whats your take on that?
Edit: Did Kuttenberg feel less polished?

You either have a bug or are not looking at your main level at the top. You can get a skill to level 20 pretty fast but not the main level. Leveling your dog's skill is fast.
