You like poker and RPGs? Then the new Kickstarter Lord of Poker could be interesting for you:

The first Role-playing Poker Game. Entirely new Poker and RPG experience. Raise your Soul, check your Mind!

The Lord of Poker is a Role-Poker Game - the first of it’s kind. It combines the raises, bluffs, strategies, and familiar hands of poker, the fantastical characters, augmented abilities, and questing format of a role-playing game, and the strategic gameplay of a fantasy card game. Your character is a hero who engages in card combat (poker sessions) against other players and characters/bosses powered by the game’s AI (mobs). Your hero’s primary skills (determined by character class), powerful items that are worn or wielded, and knowledge of magic spells all influence the outcome of the game, just as your real-world poker tactics do. Each in-game playing location affects gaming style as well, by presenting a unique set of conditions that forces players to adapt in order to win. Your quest through the game’s rich and detailed fantasy world to win the title of Lord of Poker promises to be not just an incredible adventure, but an entirely new poker/RPG experience.

I don't know if that means that you've read HiddenX' intro or that you haven't read it. ;)

Just reinforcement - this game corners the market on poker RPGs! :)

(But don't you role play a poker player every time you play poker in RL?)

I think most people enjoy playing poker, because they can win / lose money.

I certainly wouldn't play if I didn't win money playing.
