Couchpotato spotted the roadmap for Monomyth:

Video Devlog 15.0 | Early Access Roadmap

Hi, dungeon-crawling fans!

It was a busy month! Between the game's early access release, numerous patches, and a quick chat with cRPG connoisseur Dr. Matt Barton I spent some time developing a rough roadmap for the early access phase. You can hear all about it in the latest video devlog!

I bought this game in early access, not because I thought it would be good, but to support this type of games. I wish dev´s would do Ultima Underworld and Arx Fatalis experiences more often. To my surprise the game is already very good and it seems it will be a true spiritual successor of those two games. Just hope the combat system gets an overhaul.

I backed it on Kickstarter, but I haven't had time to really check out the EA yet. How far into it have you played?

I played for a bit when it was still Beta and found it to be a mixed bag gameplay-wise. The atmosphere is great though.

I played it for a couple of Hours to see if it was enjoyable or not but stopped playing to wait for the release. It was like playing Arx Fatalis first part, the only thing I didn´t like was the combat, too generic and simple. It´s time for this kind of games to have a better combat system, hope this will be adressed in the final release.

I agree about the combat. It's serviceable at best. I think it's probably very difficult though for 1 person to design a good combat system while also doing all the level-design, art, writing, etc., by himself.
