In one of the BG3 news threads I wrote a short note on Solasta's feature of custom companions with personalities given by the player. I then said that the feature has the potential to develop further, especially when you see the current state of AIs like ChatGPT writing stories.
So I gave it a try and had a nice conversation about Baldur's Gate, Edwin and asked him to write a small story about a custom companion named Bob. See for yourself:
What do you think?
I encourage you to make an account at OpenAI and fool around with this chatbot. It's really awesome. And I'd love to see your results here.
One thing you could try: Define your new custom companions by giving him a personality. Then ask the chatbot how relations to the default companions could look like. This is so awesome.
