So they're still developing content for the first game even if the second Path of Exile was already released ? Strange. I appreciate that! I'm just saying this is not the norm.

They were always intended as two separate games. Not only that, but any microtransactions you purchased for the first (stash tabs, cosmetics, etc) are accessible in the second or being worked on to be so. Going forward, they want to to have updates for each game 4 months apart, spaced 2 months after the other game's update. It's ambitious.

Yeah, quite ambitious. I played the first game on PS4 back then. First thing that made me a little sad: I couldn't share the same chars between platforms, e.g: PC Steam and Playstation. So I opted for developing a char on PS4 and I chose an archer (forgot the exact class name). Second thing: I was also playing it solo - no other players involved, no community interactions, and I found out that the game is seemingly not really meant to be played that way :( (at least that was the impression I've got).
And finally some extra mid- to high-level activities I plain and simple didn't understand. There was (IDK if it's still in-game) a kind of Heist where you invade a mansion, get to a vault to rob something and then has to leave the place. I must have tried it like 5 or 6 times and I simply couldn't finish it - I never understood if the game didn't let me to due to a bug or something *OR* if I was being dumb enough to understand the rules of the Heist in order to leave the place. The enemies just kept coming endlessly.

I've promised myself to return to the game someday. Who knows...
