Couchpotato spotted Kickstarter update 14 for Pathfinder: The Dragon's Demand:

Update 14: Development News and Stretch Goal Poll

Greetings Demanders!

We’ve been running a poll on our Discord to see which Kickstarter stretch goal backers are most interested in getting next. So far, the Temple of the Dark Tapestry DLC has taken the lead, with Crafting not far behind. Note that basic Crafting will already be in the base game, including crafting quick items like bombs, elixirs, oils, and poisons, while the Crafting stretch goal expands this to include magical item crafting (including potions, scrolls, and runes), snares, and ammunition. This is your opportunity to let us know what you want, so be sure to cast your vote in the #official-polls channel! https://discord.gg/9vySKnBNSS

We’ve been hard at work fleshing out two of our most important gameplay systems from their prototypes: our 3D grid system and swappable armour system. Our new automated grid tool is now able to chop up an area into grid cubes using a complex set of instructions for determining what’s walkable, climbable, etc. and store information for factors that impact movement (ex: difficult terrain). Next up is implementing dynamic grid cubes for things like summoning a Wall of Stone, which could either block characters or be climbed.

The swappable armour system is actually part of a broader character body system for all kinds of wearable equipment, where we can change bodies between medium and buff versions, swap heads and hairstyles, hide body parts, and transfer character poses. We haven’t decided if we’ll show very small equipment like rings and necklaces because they’ll likely be hard to see and so not worth the implementation time, but if you have an opinion on that, feel free to let us know on Discord! Up next will be taking an armour set across multiple ancestries and genders, where it’ll need to be manually adjusted to fit the different body proportions.

Regarding our coins, there was a delay at the mint towards the end of last year, so production has only gotten in gear in January. The order has been placed for thousands of copper blanks needed for the copper and plated coins (that have copper cores), and silver blanks. Our coin designs and their 3D coin digital files were all finalized before the campaign, so those will soon be made into the dies used to strike the coins.

Lastly, our character artists have been busy making more characters and monsters, including the druid Azmur Kell and the Grioth Fighter (with a voidglass sword that appears glassy ingame).

Philip, our art director, also finished the printable STL version of the Grioth Fighter and is busy printing it now. It’s a Large size creature, and as you can see from the shot below comparing it to the regular Grioth, it’s a hulking monster!!
More information.
