Project Phoenix - Has it Been a Year Already?

Well it has been six months since my last update for the funded JRPG Project Phoenix. The games developer Creative Intelligence Arts has a bunch of new updates.

Has it been a year already?

a little over a year since we successfully Kickstarted this project. Over that time we’ve continued to take the feedback you’ve given us to work towards making an outstanding game. We want to thank you for your continued support of our project and wanted to let you know that we’re still chugging away on the V-Slice for Phoenix.

To update you on the project, we’re currently recording the sound effects and voice overs for the game. If you’re one of our Founder level backers, check out the Founder Forums here for an exclusive preview of the sound bytes from the V-Slice.

I was actually starting to wonder if this one was vaporware. I'm kinda glad it's not, because it sounds pretty interesting...

It's not vaporware at all, they give regular updates. Pretty sure I've been getting roughly 3-5 a month since the kickstarter stopped. I have high hopes for this....project!

Yes I get a few updates a month but moved on to other kickstarters, and forgot about this one. So I only have myself to blame for lack of updates on the site.

Weird. I'd done a few searches a few months ago when I first discovered this project (I know, I was late on this one) and nothing new was popping up, only stuff from the very beginning of their campaign. Odd...but hey, it's good that everything is going well!

An anime science fiction action thriller that will explore what it means to live and die well, testing the limits of all we hold dear.
