Yes drummer Alan White died 26th of may.

One of his favourite yessongs was Heart of the Sunrise:

Oh, that's sad.

Last thing I knew was that he couldn't participate on the tour because he didn't feel healthy.

May he rest in peace.

Oh I'd not heard of him passing. RIP indeed. Looks like we lost two legends on the same day, as Andy Fletcher from Depeche Mode also gave up the ghost as well.

Didn't White replace Bruford in Yes or am I remembering that wrong?

Good band and a good drummer. I recently posted a video of a live performance from Yes in the Currently Listening thread. He wasn't that old (72). RIP

He did replace Bruford after Close to the Edge. He was, as the story goes, given 3 days to learn the songs before going on tour.

Two great drummers playing for a most excellent band. And yes, he passed far too early, though I guess for rockers that age is darn near venerable, lol.
