Betty who?

The one working at Bletchley Park, decoding German Enigma messages. Died 5 days ago, 101 years old.

Here's what BBC has to say about her: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c78jd30ywv8o

She apparently had problems getting suitable work (damn all that security!!)
"After the Allies' final victory, it took Mrs Webb several months to organise return passage to the UK, where she worked as a secretary at a school in Shropshire. The head teacher there had also worked at Bletchley so knew of her professionalism, whereas other would-be employers, she recalled, were left stumped by her being unable to explain - due to secrecy requirements - her previous duties."

I'd no idea she'd passed, some time ago I'd read up on this branch of service and all they accomplished before, during, and post-war. It' tough to imagine that someone so brilliant would have had difficulty finding suitable work. RIP
