RIP Gene Hackman

Wow, I just read that he died of pneumonia which is kind of strange. He was only 65.

He also had cancer since several years. So his immune defence may have been weakened.

Another fine actor gone. I'll remember him for such great parts in Real Genius, Top Secret, Willow, the Doors, and likely my favourite role of his, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. RIP and lost to us all far too soon.

Tombstone, loved how he trolled Johnny Ringo, then showed the quicker gun hand when it actually mattered.

Indeed, Tombstone was another great role and job on his part, it's quite good.

Tombstone and Heat are probably my favorite Kilmer flicks.

Crimson Tide, Hoosiers, Unforgiven, Bridge too far, many others... one could say never a bad performance. i guess the golden age of hollywood is coming to a real end.
