They never stopped being good games. The suits and bean counters of JRPG developers just viewed them as not worth the mobey. How wrong they were.

Just look at 40 years of free and paid RPG maker games.

They're just stating the obvious aren't they? I mean, it's common sense that they're good games or they wouldn't be getting remakes to begin with.
