Best part of this was the TV Show, where cheap van driver Stalker dude leads hapless giggling American tourists through Pripyat blockhouse area. He kneels to wash his hands in a creek and fakes a panic that an underwater creature attacked his hand, then he pulls out his hand to show he is okay and stands up, looks around, frowns and ushers the young Americans back to the van. In the meantime the camera shows the water where he washed his hand and an ominous waving action starts indicating some kind of NOT VISIBLE big piranha-snake creature is violently disturbing the water looking for prey.

That was cool!!

Starting to sound like it's maybe time to start playing this again.

Good to hear they're still cranking out patches. Oddly enough, the more recent user-reviews on Steam have a lower rating than the older ones. Still looking forward to playing this when I can find the time.
