Umm, actually here is one *raises hand* I don't have a Steam-account so I haven't played it yet.
I'm really looking forward to testing it in winter.

I have only ever played for a few hours as well, until I realized the ocean in front of me was a shallow puddle.
Also the loading screens each time you go through a door just irk the hell out of me. Come on guys, if Gothic could do it...

Unfortunately there seem to be some problems with this version concerning mods, as far as I've heard. Also the creation kit doesn't work with it.

Only took almost 12 years, and yeah I had a feeling there would be mod conflicts.

At the moment there's no GOG launcher for it, which means there's no default way to activate mods like on the Steam version. It seems to work easily with Nexus Vortex only at the moment.

The rest of the modding community seem to be updating the little stuff that doesn't work yet (SKSE is supposed to work now for example, though some mods dependent on it don't work yet).

Yeah, no creation kit.

I'm mostly fine with no mods, as that's how I generally like to play. The only mods I'd install are quality of life mods, like the pc inventory management mod I remember. But regardless, I can do without mods.

Most mod collections don't seem to work, especially those that rely on specific game versions.

As much as I like gog normally, in this case, I suggest to wait a bit until the whole situation has normalized.

The length of time between Temple of Elemental Evil's release date and the release of Pillars of Eternity was 11 years 191 days. We all thought that was an awfully long time.

The gap between Elder Scrolls games is currently at least 10 years 328 days.

Well that happens when your company gets to large and has to many IP's. Bethesda should start using multiple teams to work on those IP's at the same time.

Otherwise it will be a long wait between sequels.
