Well this came as surprise.

I know many of you love playing Spellfoce as RPGs but THQ announced that the Fantasy General 2 devs are working on a new game in the Spellforce series.

In a journey from humble start with a small wizard’s tower, explore the lands of Eo in a quest for magical might in this ever-changing strategy role playing game. Defeat armies and heroes in tactical combat, find mighty artefacts, raise knowledge and magic to become the most powerful mage of all.

Kinda reminds me of the Age of Wonders games.

Could be a nice side track. I dont think this is planned to be the next "big" Spellforce game.

Fantasy General 2 wasn't a bad strategy game so I have faith in the developer. Also yeah it's a small side project of the franchise and not the next Spellfoce game.
