Starfield - Shattered Space - A Game Changer?

Releases today but not available for download in my area yet.
I started a new game last week and ready to go except I don't plan on doing it till I at least finish some of the main faction and main story quests, and get a decent level. Right now Keth is like level 5 or so and just started the UC main quest. Looking forward to it. I still haven't gotten my buggy either.
It released on time over here. I was expecting the download to be larger though. It's only 8GB?
It depends on were you live they released a time map. Started at 8am on the west coast and moved every hour elsewhere. Released thirty minutes after my post above.
Yes, I'm aware it went by time zones. It was 11am ET.

I don't plan to buy any individual quests from Bethesda, but I got 1,000 Bethesda Bucks when I reinstalled yesterday because I bought the premium version. So I spent half of them on "The Escape", which I guess is pretty recent. After I downloaded it, I looked to see what people thought of it, and apparently it's a very well received quest.
So if you have some of that fake currency laying around, you could do worse. It'll give me one more new thing to do in my second playthrough.

I'll keep that one in mind. I booted up Starfield just now after the update, and I also got the 1000 credits.
However, there was a disclaimer that using creation club disables achievements unless otherwise specified? I don't care too much about achievements, but that's still a downer.

I don't either, so that doesn't impact me, but I know a lot of gamers care about it.
It would be strange if a quest mod made by BGS themselves disabled achievements, but stranger (and dumber) things have happened.
I went back and skimmed through the ones made by BGS, and it seems like they're all achievement-friendly.
The selection sucks though. Of the 20 DLCs made by BGS, 17 of them are just weapon skins and stuff like that. Shattered Space, The Escape, and one called "The Vulture" are the only quests, and the last one looks like it's just a bounty.
Just did a few checks: Bethesda creations like "The Escape" are marked as "Achievement friendly", unlike other creations.
pibbuR who doesn't care how many achievements he achieves or doesn't achieve.

Well my game basically states when stating a new game you are using Creation Club content therefore all achievements will be disabled. Same with Fallout 4 as well.

The amount of people telling on Steam reviews that the DLC is not $30 worthy is quite high.
The DLC itself had "Neutral" ratings by yesterday, today it's under "Mostly Negative".
As mediocre as the base game? I have it because I bought the Digital Premium Edition of the base game(yeah, sheesh). But couldn't even finish the base game, so...
