Hmm...nope. One is not like the other I'm afraid to say.
One is a small indie team that charges $15-25 for his remakes. The other a billion dollar company charges $70 for new releases, and $50-60 for every remake they release.
I will simply hope they'll reconsider the price tag on a game that could easily be considered a classic. I don't do wagers, as Pa taught me when I was younger that gambling is a tax on those that don't comprehend basic math.
We can only hope so, but I pretty much doubt that Square Enix will change the price formation of their games anytime soon (Note that I am not talking about promos, discounts and the like - every company does sales, sooner or later). I'm referring to the final price of their newly released games - Square Enix won't change them. They never felt the need to do it, it won't be now that they will.
