The Blood of Dawnwalker - Game Trailer

Nice wall-walking. :) But this trailer is too dark and didnt grab me.
But it looks like solid game. It will be probably more interesting for small side stories and some gameplay elements and not the overall main story and factions (unless you are big fan of vampires and vampire curses etc). But its just my flawed impression.

The music gives me Witcher vibes. I guess that's fitting since some of these devs came from CDPR.

Not sure about the game though. I'm starting to feel like vampires are overdone.

The only vampire IP that makes sense is What We Do in the Shadows. The trailer and game looks meh although I am a sucker for Eastern European games. Not really looking forward to this one, however.

I'm looking forward to it. For me their hasn't been a ton of good vampire games. Bloodlines, Vampyr (which didn't interest me), V-Rising (more MMO in style and survival/base building) ... not much else except Bloodlines 2. That's a very short list. I'm not counting very games, anime, adventure novel, simple indie ones, or the like.

Although if anyone knows of some well made RPG style vampire ones like Bloodlines or Vampyr let me know!

Werewolf focused games are even shorter and would prefer a decent WOT one, Apocalypse didn't cut it.

This one looks pretty good so far though.

Fingers crossed these guys can deliver as the main investors NetEase does not care for developers outside Asia. As the CEO called western developers entitled and lazy.

Vampyr wasn't bad. What didn't you like about it?

I like the look of this... looks decently grim and dark. Last good vampire RPG I played and really liked was Vampyr... while that was a bit janky, I thought it nailed the atmosphere and story.

Yeah, the atmosphere is top notch. Only thing I didn't like was the single slot save system that autosaves as soon as you make a decision.

I can't remember all the details of why. It was a lot of things I read as I kept going back and forth on getting it. I would be close to getting it but then I would read things about it that put me off. I'm trying to remember but I was put off by knowing the less you fed the harder the game play, that you couldn't feed without killing the victim (this was a major problem for me; I prefer vampires that can feed w/out killing), that there were bad respawn issues (I read you could clear a place and moments later things would respawn), the save system (even if I understand the why of it), and probably a couple other things I am forgetting.

I agree with wolf as I also hated respawns and the feeding mechanic.

Also that Gwent post was hilarious but this isn't Witcher 3. :rotfl:
