Another oddball metal song I listened today.

SOILWORK - A Whisp Of The Atlantic

Never heard of them but it's not that bad.

Certainly heard of Soilwork before, although their songs that make it to my playlist are a bit different to the one you posted, @Couchpotato;.

Here's two:

(that video does have some kind of bioshock vibe, doesn't it?)

I spent most of yesterday listening to Kraftwerk, Aldo Nova and Gary Newman. I'm not the biggest fan of electronic music, but these masters are well worth listening to.

Watched and listened to Roger Waters’ Us + Them.

Wow! Absolutely fantastic. Wish I had gone to see it live!

Started on it, but only got 15mins in. Yeah, it's great, but I'm either not in the mood, depressed or it's the fact that I've listened to all of these songs for hundreds and hundreds of times. Which would normally be sacriledge for me, since Pink Floyd and Waters are my all time favorite band by far. Maybe I'll return to it later.

I liked most of the chsnges from the studio versions, so it felt a bit fresh. The visuals are what makes it though.

Of the little I warched I really enjoyed Time especially, like I always do. The instrumental crescendo right at the start before the vocals kick in is amazing. And then the lyrics really make me depressed when I realuze how fleeting time is.

Yeah the lyrics can be depressing if the mood isn’t right. Though the show ends on happy and positive notes. It’s a bit of journey. Well put together.
