First half of the 1st CD of the new box "Genesis at the BBC". Good stuff.

Alrick, thanks to you I'm going to listen to some Genesis today, likely the first five or six albums, as I vastly prefer the band while Gabriels was part of it.

Yesterday I took to the porch with David Dee, Beaky, Dozy, Mick, Tich, (and almost a Pete!) Great music and revolutionary at the time, one seriously wonders what would have happened had Peter Townsend dropped the people he couldn't stand and instead stuck with these blokes.

Honestly I don't believe I've ever heard a bad or poor song from Blue Oyster Cult, they're just one of those bands that both puts out excellent albums and performs flawlessly in person.

I've seen them live three times though the most recent time was over twenty-five years ago, and I felt I owed them more money for the sheer entertainment I received. And, from what I saw, they're actually classy and pretty nice to their fans as well.
